If you want to learn how to play drums then Independence School of Music is definitely one of the music schools you want to consider.  The reason is simple, the drum teacher Erik Roszak  is one of the best drum teachers in greater Cleveland.  He loves to play, and he loves to play drums and he loves to teach drums.  Erik gets to the studio early every day that he is scheduled to play, and works out on his drums.  If you want enthusiasm in a professional drum teacher, Erik is your guy.  Erik is in high demand, but we still have some openings for him.

Private drum lessons are $80 per month, and that includes 4 or 5 thirty minute lessons on each month.

Erik has a music degree in percussion from Baldwin Wallace, but also plays piano, and occasionally sings.  He teaches proper technique and encourages all of Erik Roszak's students perform at our recitals.  We have at least two recitals a year.  We just had our fall recital in October, and all of Erik's students participated in the recital.  After the student recital, Mr. Roszak gave an interesting rhythm demonstration with himself and a former student clapping out a progressive beat.  The entire audience was enthralled.
