String Instrument Rental:
We stock violins in all sizes including 1/16 size violin, 1/8 size violin, 1/4
size violin, 1/2 size violin, 3/4 size violin and 4/4, full size violin. We
stock cello in 1/2 size cello, 3/4 size cello, and full size cello, and 13"
viola, 14" viola, 15" viola, and 16" viola.

new" condition. We are the exclusive dealer in the area for the extremely high
quality RS Berkeley line, and also stock other well established brand name
instruments. We deal directly with many of your school music directors. We built
our successful school rental program with friendly customer service, and quality
instruments.

band or orchestra instrument from Independence School of Music. Show it to
your band or orchestra teacher within two weeks of your rental. If your
teacher has any problem with the quality of your new or used rental
instrument, simply have the teacher write a note describing the problem, and we
will take the instrument back and give you a full refund on the rental fees.
PRICING
Independence School of Music has the lowest prices for
QUALITY rental instruments in Ohio A typical rental runs $41.50 for the first three months, then
$28.50 per month thereafter, including rental fees. These rental rates include the monthly maintenance
fee covering normal instrument problems. Our instrument rental program is a
"rent-to-own" with the entire rental amount (less the maintenance fees) going
toward the eventual instrument purchase. Also, your child may change into
another instrument at any time with a nominal $15 instrument changeover fee, and
you will not loose your equity.
BEST VALUE: $14.25 per month - For
students who enroll in at least one month of lessons at Independence School of
Music, we have a 9 month school instrument
rental which starts at only $127.50 for the full nine months for a new, like
new, or used musical instrument... That's less than $14.25 per month including
the maintenance fee! This is about half of the normal monthly price of a
school instrument rental. This is like getting your private or group music lessons
for free! No other
store matches this offer.
Independence School of Music is committed to enhancing the greater Cleveland
community by supporting school and community music programs. We are happy to
meet with school music teachers to discuss the instruments their students need,
and we are always interested in learning your views on the instrument brands and
models that you prefer, always mindful of the music rental students' need to
balance quality and affordability. We even have a program available in
partnership with RS Berkeley whereby area school music
departments seriously interested in purchasing new instruments, can try one for
free.

FREE LESSONS:
Each student who rents an instrument from Independence School of Music will
receive a free private lesson to learn the basics of the instrument. Parents are
welcome to attend this free lesson while your student "tries out one of our
teachers"
At Independence Music you can rent a Fender guitar, including a practice amp for
only $19.99 per month.
We have the most aggressive rental program in the area, offering most of the
school instruments for only $127.50 for the nine month school year for students
who are enrolled in our private lesson program.
School Instrument Rental History
While this is the first year of operation for Independence School of Music, the
former owners of Prestige music have years of experience renting musical
instruments to band and orchestra students. Dave Kochis and Eric Dregne
also have established a fine reputation among local school system administrators
as the a good choice for band and orchestra instruments and instrument repairs
for their school orchestras.
While I was at Brecksville Music, I evaluated all of the
national school musical instrument rental programs, and selected what I believe
is the best run company in the school instrument rental business... RS Berkeley.
Their instruments are all new or like new. Their customer service has been
excellent, with door-to-door delivery of instruments within two days of my phone
call. We are thus able to keep our overhead very low, yet always have
enough instruments on hand to meet the needs of our customers. Frankly, I have
been very impressed. While at Brecksville Music, I had several teachers
try out the Berkeleys, and without exception they came back with great marks.
I have given horns to my repair tech Ian Indorf, and he said they were great.
Dave and Eric have both tried out the RS Berkeley brass and woodwind instruments
and found them to be of great quality.
